my world

Philip’s world has been greatly reduced… mostly to one room… a room filled with his “memorabilia”… it is where I live, for most of every day… like I said … it’s a “pretty small world”

12 to 14 hrs of each day is spent “sleeping” in this chair behind me … I call that time my “La-La-Land” … where philip (aka Don Quixote) has many awesome conquests… bringing truth and justice into the world as he “lances” with the next windmill that crosses his path as he wanders thru the “LAND”… with Johnny Cash singing “Philly Wolfa was a Rebel, he rode thru the LAND, Philly Wolfa, the Rebel, he wandered alone…”

Please note there are 2 Don Quixote statues on the memorabilia table… the small one represents his life for the past 52 years… the tall one represents his life in La-La-Land. You would be stunned to realize how many new businesses “Philly” starts in La-La-Land (all successful of course), the numbers of people he rescues, the wrongs that are righted… oh my… but… the icing on the cake the other day was “Philly’s” victory at the ‘La-La-Land Golf Tourney’ for “Retired Rebels”… sinking an amazing 22′ putt… unbelievable… you really had to be there…

In case you have been wondering about the magnificent painting hanging on the wall… that was presented to me as a gift over 40 years ago by a young Artist named John Kincade… it has traveled with me to every new home, after moving from Hackensack, N.J. in 1980… A powerful depiction of the “Tent of Meeting” that has inspired me in my journey as I “Follow the Lord” … “Trust Him”…”Obey Him”… and “live outside the camp”…. Thank you, John.

And… thanks for listening…
